Paypal is asking me to "verify" my account when accepting an invoice, but I'm already verified?

Hello! I'm somewhat new to PayPal. I've had it sitting in my phone for some time, but recently, I've started using it to accept payment for my commissions via invoice. This was my first time sending an invoice, and my costumer has paid. I think? I've tried to "Accept" The invoice on my computer (My phone doesn't have the "Accept" option on the invoice) But each time I click it, it sends me somewhere to "Verify My Account". I know I'm verified, but this was my first time trying to accept an invoice, so I just thought. "Oh, maybe I missed a step or something." Nope. I click on the "Get verified" button, but that just sends me to a "Page not found". There, it tells me "Somethings not right," "This page doesn't exist", and "We can’t find a page with the url you entered." I'm so confused, does anyone know what's happening? Am I missing something?!

As you haven't added your country to your profile (so we can see when we hover over your username) or said in your post which country you are in so unfortunately its hard for us to advise.
Paypal varies a great deal country to country so you need to tell us where you are on this worldwide community forum.

Sorry, but are those the only options? Do I NEED to use a bank account to verify myself?

or NEED to apply for a Paypal credit product? What if I don't want to do either?

It asked me for my personal info, ssn, government ID, and it still wants more to verify?! I even switched my account to a business because I thought maybe I needed to do that, but that didn't work either...

I'm just trying to accept an invoice... I'm beyond frustrated.

You verify by adding and confirming a bank account OR applying for a paypal credit account, your choice as per link.

HOWEEVER if you have set up a business account then paypal often require more information from you ie SSN etc.

Okay, so I decided to do the bank one but now it's telling me my account doesn't exit 😞 .

I really don't want to go through with the credit one, so now there's just nothing I can do?

Hi everyone! Thank you @kernowlass for all the wonderful information you've provided so far. We greatly appreciate all the time and expertise you lend our users.

Welcome @Aaartz! I'm sorry to hear you've run into some road-blocks verifying you account. When you're trying to search for your bank, do you see the option to "Enter your bank details" in the search results? That should give you the option to link your bank manually. From there, you want to use this Help Center article to help Confirm your bank manually.

Good luck!

So I click on "Link a bank"

It tells me to enter my bank, so I do, and then I enter my information.

It takes a moment to load, and sometimes it asks for a verification code, which I give.

But after that, it just tells me. "You don’t have any bank accounts to link.

Your bank account may have just been set up and is not available."

Then my only option is to click "Link a different bank."

😞

@Aaartz, welcome back and thank you for that information. Is the bank you're trying to link a checking or savings account? If it is, I'd recommend reaching out to our Support Teams to see what may be happening here. They can be reached by clicking Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website as well as through Twitter direct message or Facebook instant message.

Best wishes! I hope they're able to track down what's going on,
