Receiving emails from PayPal on a deleted email address

Hi,

I changed the primary email address on my account a couple of months ago, and then deleted that email address from my account completely.

I am now getting some messages to my new primary address (transactions and some general notifications)

and some messages to my old (deleted) email address (general notifications / promotions).

Since the old email no longer appears in my list of email addresses, can anyone suggest how I get PayPal to properly switch over to using my new primary address?

If nothing else it would be useful to know whether anyone else has had this problem and whether it got resolved?

I do understand your frustration with this. I would suggest you check your email preferences to ensure your old email address is not listed there. This can be done by following the steps below.

To set your email notification preferences:

1. Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.com
2. Click the Settings icon at the top of the page.
3. In the blue bar near the top of the page, click Notifications.

If your old email address is not listed, then your account may be effected by a technical issue. In this case, please contact our Customer Support.
