If I am setting up a PayPal Business account for a Non-profit can I, as the administrative assistant, be the main person on the account since I will be running it. Our non-profit is run by a board of directors. I am worried that if I am the main person on the account that it will affect my taxes since they are wanting my social security number when it will be an account for donation for our non-profit.

You’ll have to add a tax ID number (EIN?) for the non-profit as well as your SSN as account holder so that the 1099-K won’t be attributed to you although that doesn’t stop it from happening in error which has been known to happen. Then have to get customer service to submit a ticket to the back office to correct it.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
