Close and reopen an account at Paypal with same email address!

Hi, I've shifted to other country. Now I have to delete my papal account and have to create a new one. What happen if I create new account wit the same email address? I'm asking this question because I've given to my papal account to a publisher of a monthly magazine. Will be any problem with the payment of next months to the publisher?

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to close your old Paypal account and open a new Paypal account registered in the country where you now live. You would then need to add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

IF you can get the account closed then you should be able to re-use the email address.

Hi Kernowlass, Thank you very much for your advice. My question is, what will happen if I open new PayPal account with same email address, after closing down my previous account. In case I have authorised a monthly magazine abo, do I have to renew the abo or not?

Any subscriptions you would need to set up again as you are in another country.
