I can no longer log into Honey through a newly opened PayPal account.

After closing my first Paypal account and opening a new one, I can no longer log into Honey through this new PayPal account using my Android phone or macbook . I did link the Honey and PatPal Rewards accounts. I cleared cookies and cache from my Chrome browser. What could cause this?
