I can't link my Gcash Mastercard to Paypal it appears that my "card has been decline" for instant and i don't know why?

I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble linking your GCash account to your PayPal account. Below are the requirements that need to be met in order to link your accounts:

• Your GCash account must be fully verified.
• Your first and last name on PayPal must be identical with your first and last name on your GCash account (e.g. Juan Dela Cruz and Juan De La Cruz will not match). Both accounts must be owned by the same person.
• Your nominated email must match your login credentials for PayPal
• The PayPal account must be set up in the Philippines.
• Remove your withdrawal limit on PayPal by verifying your credit card or bank account. This step should be completed before Cashing-In via PayPal to GCash.
• To cash in from PayPal, users must first link their PayPal account to GCash.

Hi @PayPal_Jae I have a fully verified Gcash account and i do not mean my Gcash account to be link in paypal, My real point is my Gcash Mastercard that was link in my Gcash account and I can't link my Gcash Mastercard to Paypal that's what i pointed out when I put all the information upon linking my Gcash Mastercard the error is like this "Your card is decline, try different payment method" Any help with these?

Hi @PayPal_Jae I have a $4 balance on my Gcash account and I link there my Gcash Mastercard, why the error show like that i have a balance? I want to withdraw my balance in my Paypal account.

Hello, @josdl10. Thanks for following up on your previous messages and for clarifying your concern. If you're seeing an error message saying your card was declined, please contact your card issuer for help with that. PayPal asks a card issuer for permission to access a card, but we can't do anything if the card issuer declines our request.

While Jae's reply may have provided information that did not apply to your situation directly, the possibility of linking a GCash account to your PayPal account is something you may want to look into. It's possible to transfer money from a PayPal account to a GCash account and you can find more information on that at https://www.paypal.com/ph/webapps/mpp/gcash-easy-withdrawals.
