I didn't receive a confirmation email to the email address I have listed

Years ago I had a PayPal account but I haven't used it for a long time. Today I went in and changed my banking and   debit card information. I did not receive an email confirmation at the email address linked to my PayPal account.  I have a company that wants to send me some money but now I am afraid to give them that address. Any suggestions?

Cheers

Hello @Tourruss

Thanks for visiting the Community, and welcome!

I'm sorry to hear you didn't receive a confirmation email when you added your new payment methods. I know you mentioned you hadn't used your account in a long time. Is there any chance your email provider has started filtering our emails to the junk/spam folder? It may have also been accidentally blocked. If you can find one of our emails and save it as a favorite, that may help ensure they come through. In the meantime, I recommend ensuring the email address is confirmed. As long as it is confirmed on your account, you will be able to use it to accept payments. You can learn more about confirming your email on our Help Center here: How do I confirm my email address? If you'd like to have someone send money using your phone number, you'll want to confirm it as well.

I hope this helps and that you receive the confirmation emails and payment soon!
