First time I set up a paypal account I was still residing in Morocco...but I moved recently to Canada, and lately I did change my main address in paypal to Canada. . I started working in a company that pays with paypal, but with the first payment, they stoped giving me work saying that they noticed my paypal is set to Morocco and that I should have it set to Canada !! anyone knows what I should do ? thanks PS: my account is business, don't know if that has to do with something , but now I just removed my cards and the home and business address are in Canada. thanks again

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to close your old Paypal account and open a new Paypal account registered in the country where you now live. You would then need to add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

You can however in most countries add a U.S bank account (not card) to your Paypal account. This is because Paypal is a U.S company and allows that option for U.S citizens working in other countries.

Thank you for your quick answer, now that I'm trying to close my account I have to clear my account but I'm stuck with a 0.01$ that I have to transfer or send away ! I don't have a card that is linked to my paypal, tried to send it to an old contact I had but it didn't go through they say :

" Sorry, this payment can’t be completed due to regulations.
If you continue to encounter problems, please contact customer service. "

Do you know what should I do in this case , tried to look for an agent but no paypal agent is available they said ! , thanks again
