Purge all old addresses

Is it possible to purge all addresses from my account? I've already gone onto my account and ensured only my current address is listed and deleted old addresses. However when I shop on some webstores and log into paypal it has a drop-down of every address I've ever used with a PayPal payment, including old addresses, work addresses, and addresses of people I've gifted to. It defaults to an old but recent address so I don't always notice it is incorrect. I've checked and it isn't a browser or webstore option, but one when I log into paypal to pay for an online transaction from a webstore.

I see you're concerned about your old addresses popping while making a purchase. Please make sure you have deleted unwanted address from your PayPal account by following the instructions below. 

Here’s how to remove your old address:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click the Settings icon next to "Log out".
3. Click Manage Addresses in the Address tile.
4. Click Remove under the Address you want to delete.
5. Click Remove again to confirm this change.

Also, if you're using PayPal app, you can try to clear data so that the addresses are removed. I hope it helps.

Thank you for your post and welcome to the PayPal Community. I see that you said that you already deleted all visible addresses in your account. I'm sorry to hear that you're still seeing old addresses in merchants' checkouts. I can help you with that!

When an address is directly manually into a merchant's checkout, it becomes what we call a hidden address. Future checkouts with that merchant, and sometimes other merchants, will have that manually entered address as an option, to make checkout faster. Regrettably, because they are not entered within your PayPal account itself, they are more difficult to remove. In order to remove hidden addresses, you'll need the assistance of Customer Service. Just click Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website for contact options and let the representative know you need help removing hidden addresses.
