I’ve been a victim of pressure and a bit of naivety on my part.
I have sent some very expensive camera equipment via next day before 1pm (on a friday) to someone after them buying via FB marketplace.
I was asked to send a money request to an em address nortonmanlock at a famous provider beginning with Y whom I assumed had a PayPal account (still do). Of course the items have been sent and the money request ignored followed by lots of and texts and a spoof PP email asking me to send a photo of the receipts before the cash is released. Obvs I now know the PP email is fake and Eminates from. CZ,
I managed to delay the package thankfully which gives me a few days to intercept or stop it being delivered. Have reported fraud to local and national agencies (not much interest shown) and trying to get in touch with PP and Royal Mail without much luck.
i have the destination address and I know which DO my parcel is sitting in but cannot seem to get anyone to help.
I think I’ve realised that this is a huge issue and is happening to lots of people every day.
would be grateful for some advice ad tips

SCAM.
They encourage you to accept a direct Paypal payment and may ask you to send the item internationally.
They ask you to send a money request so that they can send you fake emails but never PAY the money request.
No funds or activity of the transaction shows in your Paypal account and any emails may go into your junk/spam folders.
You will get/got a "fake" email that looks as though it is from paypal.....it isn't because they don't have a Paypal account and have no intention of paying you.
It will say the buyer has paid ...you won't have been paid.
They will tell you that the payment is released when you provide paypal with a tracking/shipping number......this won't happen.
Paypal NEVER tell you to send an item before the payment is showing in your paypal account.
Paypal do not tell you to send trackable, they advise it for selling protection but it is not compulsory.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
