PayPal here will not work

I have a paypal reader purchased from PayPal and PayPal branded. App downloaded and paired fine but cant open the app which just says get started with iZettle or log into paypal. When logging in it just takes me to paypal.com app page and asked me to get an iZettle reader. Chat don't know, customer service tried go convince me I had an iZettle reader and after downloading the iZettle app the reader was of course incomparable. I am so frustrated after several weeks I now have a very slow response from the global tec support that just ask Are you sure it's a paypal reader. I need to use this in 36 hours and this experience is a real disappointment after using paypal for many years. I even choose paypal reader at a greater expense out of loyalty with is a joke. Please please any suggestions. I have even opened a new google play account on a different phone to try but same thing.

This problem was solved with another call to the customer services, where the guy immediately spotted that there was no application on my account for Paypal here. On the one hand I fee a bit stupid, but on the otherhand there was nothing when I ordered the card reader to say I needed to make a separate application.

Put simply: If you cant open the app you need an approval from PAYPAL.

I wish the two previous call handlers had spotted this I would feel a lot less stressed.
