I've recently set up my Wix store to sell registration for a workshop (I have a wix.com website). I made arrangements to accept payments using Paypal at checkout (as well as an option for manual payment). The paypal button works and it all looks good. Registrants pressing the button will go to a paypal checout page and be able to use a credit card to make a payment without necessarily having a paypal account.
My question is this: As I have no sales yet, and the wix interface is so smooth ;), I am not certain which of the Paypal services my business is actually using (and therefore, what the charge will be). Is the use of a paypal checkout considered part of the "paypal payments standard, express checkout" (2.9% of charge and a .30 transaction fee)? I just don't know the difference. I do know that I am not paying any monthly fees for the service. How can I learn more?
I've already checked the wix.com website and it says to contact paypal!
