It seems that there are general problems with Paypal payment buttons and webkit based web browser's such as Google Chrome and Safari.
PayPal buttons work fine on Firefox based browser's on Windows 7, I've had problems reported to me from individuals using Firefox on Windows XP.
I have tested the Subscription Button with the following browsers, please note the machine is running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 Bit:
IE 5.5: Fail
IE6: Pass
IE7: Pass
IE8: Pass
Firefox 3.1.6.2: Pass
Safari: Fail
Google Chrome:Fail
People need to be sure to test there buttons with multiple browser's to insure your button works. There is no shame in telling your customers to please use Internet Explorer 6+ or Firefox when subscribing.
Paypal needs to fix these issues as 24%of my traffic uses Chrome, 15% use Safari, with the rest being a mix of IE and Firefox. So unknowingly 39% of my traffic couldn't even subscribe if they wanted to, PayPal please fix it......
