Gift Registry

Trying to set up a registry for a wedding. One of the things we would like to register for are 'land-excursion' on the honeymoon cruise. However they don't have a registry. I was trying to set up list of items on pay pal with given cost next to it and have our wedding website redirect people here if that was what they wanted to give us. This would only serve as a cash repository for my fiancé and I to draw for these excursions, but it would be very helpful. Does anyone know how I might be able to accomplish this?

I'm think of something like Honeymoonwishes.com if anyone is familiar...but they want a 7% service charge. Feel a little like I'm bilking my guests at that point.

Thanks

If you haven't read the DIY blog from Weddingbee.com, here's the link.  In that post, she details how she made a honeymoon registry with Go Daddy's Website Tonight (wouldn't recommend, incredibly frustrating to use if you don't know code well).

She didn't mention needing to upgrade to a Premier or Business Account, I'm going to do more research before I make my website and honeymoon registry live.

Good luck!  I know I'll need it ><

We checked out the DIY on WeddingBee and it was super complicated for us. We almost went with HoneymoonWishes but learned they take an additional fee of 3% from gift givers. Now that's ridiculous and its hidden in their terms so no way.

We decided to use www.SimpleRegistry.com for our wedding. We could actually include items for our honeymoon and household items. They do have a fee of either 7% or 3.5% + $35 fee. I found this mention that might help you make a decision and addresses the DIY PayPal option. They do not charge gift givers.
