STOP Receiving Payments Without Cancelling Account

Hi.

I have a non-profit merchant account and I we are switching away from Paypal for online giving.

Is there any way to stop receiving payments from anybody through Paypal without closing the account?

We still have significant funds and would like to keep the account for future use, but we don't want anybody to be able to give through Paypal any longer.

Welcome to the Community.

It is sad to hear you are switching to another payment gateway - there is a way to stop any incoming payments to your PayPal account. If you have a PayPal button on your website you would remove the button HTML from the web page (the button created in your PayPal account will be saved for future use). Or if you are using Website Payments Pro, a developer would have to remove the shopping cart from the website. I hope this helps.
