AUTHENTICATION REQUIRED isn't working and blocking me from any access to PP

For 3 weeks now I haven't been able to use PayPal because every time I try to log in it goes to Authentication required. I follow instructions but it never calls me. I click on 'try another way' and get the same screen.

All ways to resolve the problem involve logging in!

 

Yesterday I phoned customer support and after a very long automated call I finally got a person. After lots of questions and checks he said I wouldn't need to be authenticated again but to wait about an hour before trying.

 

I tried again today to log in - with exactly the same result.

 

I feel I am in 'Groundhog Day' and am totally frustrated. 

 

PayPal have had thousands of pounds of business from me but how does a person get real help from them?

How is possible to solve this problem? Because for some reason PP don't send SMS or call - try'ed both.
From screen which i saw they know my correct phone number
