Cannot find verification card in online bank statement. (PH - Landbank)

Good day. I am from the Philippines, and I am trying to verify my Paypal account using my Landbank debit savings card.

When I checked my LBP i-Access (online banking) statement, it states that I have been charged P100.00 as per Paypal instructions, but the transaction is only labelled as something like "ONLINE TRANSACTION", without any mention of Paypal or a 4-digit code.

Is there something that can be done? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, and have a good day.

Hi @cabellyinraja

Sorry to hear of the trouble confirming your bank.

I recommend reaching out to your bank to see if they can help locate any notes that might be sent with a transaction.

I hope this information helps!

Thanks,

Good day, @PayPal_Tricia ! This issue has been resolved now.

I did this by calling my bank's landline and asking for the Paypal code - I was patched through to a banker and was given my Paypal code after doing a few verifications through the phone. Everything's fine now.

Thank you for your help and your concern! Hopefully, this will help anyone with the same problem in the future.

@cabellyinraja how did you contact LBP for the verification code? What number did you call? Do they have email? I am having the same problem. I reached out to the branch but they didn't see the code as well. Thank you!

Hello. I used the phone number in their website - you can check it out on https://www.landbank.com/contact-us#. I did not contact my local branch, just 1-800-10-405-7000. If that does not work, try (+632) 8-405-7000. Either way, they will direct you to an automated caller, and you will have to press the numbers on your phone to reach to a human teller. Sadly, I forgot what numbers to press to direct you to a human teller, but hopefully, you'll be guided.

Once you have been directed to a human teller, tell them that you want to have your Paypal code verified. They will ask for your basic info to verify your identity, and after a few minutes, they will call you back and they will give you the code.
