I set up a business account and for some reasons its set my country as the US. How do I change this to Australia so I can link my bank account and get my money paid into it?

Paypal is country specific so you have to open a paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.
You can't use another countries paypal account.

Thanks! I totally understand that, that wasn’t my question. My question is - how do I change my current PayPal account to an Australian one. I can’t seem to do it as it keeps sending me back to the US account.

Well i thought you could have worked it out from the information that i supplied that you can't use another countries paypal account.

So that account is useless to you, close it and open one in your own country.

You can't change a paypal account from one country to another one.

Thanks for that.

What I am asking is HOW do I close the account and open a new one. Every time I try I get to the Australian website and it bumps me back to the US one.

Just to add to the above - I can't close the account as there is $$ in there and I cant get the $$ paid to me because I dont have a US bank account.

So how can I get this sorted?

Open an account in your own country and then contact customer services to see if they will or can transfer the funds to your new account for you.

If not then see if the person that sent the funds can file a dispute to get them back again (unless you have the refund option) and then pay again to your new account?
