Changing personal name on business account

We have a company PayPal account but the account holder is no longer with the company. Can we change this name to the company owner? (No idea why it wasn't set up with his name to begin with)

As long as the business isn't registered as an individual or sole proprietorship, the account's contact name can be changed. Here's how to change the contact name:

1. Go to your Account owner information page on a web browser.
2. Click Change beside 'Name'.
3. Select 'Your contact name has changed' and click Continue. You'll see a list of the supporting documents we need to change the contact name.
4. Once you have the documents ready, click Upload Documents to send them to us.

Please provide clear, valid documents so we can quickly make the changes for you. If you have any other questions, please contact us by clicking the 'Contact' button at the bottom of any PayPal page.

I have the same issue & need to change it for the same reason. I've tried multiple times to do the same, without success.

How many documents are required, as it states 3, then only lists 2?

Update your contact name

Simply upload 3 documents to confirm the legal name and information of your business contact. This information will be kept securely encrypted.

1. Photo ID

   You can use your driving licence, passport or any other government-issued photo ID.

2. Document on your business letterhead

   Include the primary email address, current name, address and phone number registered in the PayPal account. Provide the new business contact name and the reason for the change.

I've just tried again, uploading 2,as it throws an error if I upload 3, so fingers crossed.....
