Credit card notifications

I just received my PayPal cashback MasterCard and was wondering if there was a way to get push notifications whenever anything is purchased with that card. I found an option in the PayPal app to turn notifications on when I “Buy something,” but I’m still not seeing any notifications come through after using the card...Is this because that option is in actually in regard to the PayPal debit card? Thanks in advance if anybody can help!

@Hxnguyen, after seeing @svodme's post, I also went to their website to turn the notification on (at $1.00). it did not work.

They had this service up until recent;y.  I used it and it worked well.  I would get an email after every transaction over $1.00 and hen it stopped and I can not find anywhere to get it activated again.  Super huge bummer!!  Now that Paypal is no longer linked to eBay, I'm considering closing the account.  Besides some online purchases I really don't see the point of having money in this account anymore.  But I know it is used for things outside eBay too.  Just for me with the lack of oversight of my expenses unless I login it isn't worth it.  Too much to keep track of.

Update - as I stated in my last post, I turned on the notification for purchases over $1.00 but saw no notifications.  Just three days ago, I finally DID get an email notification after a purchase (not sure why it suddenly started working).  I haven't purchased anything with this credit card since then, but will be keeping a close eye the next time I do, to see if the email comes consistently.  If I continue to get emails after the next several purchases I make, I will report back here to let anybody who is curious know.  I would still much prefer push notifications on the PayPal app on my phone, but email notifications is much better than nothing, so I hope this does work.

FYI for anybody who is wondering - I am starting to get notifications by email when I make a purchase of more than $1.00.  It took a couple months to kick in (not sure if this is normal, or if it was just not working before), but it's a decent replacement that will serve the purpose that I need.  I would STILL much prefer that the app give me push notifications, but this will do.
