How to change phone number region to another

Hi,

I now live in a different country than before, and I opened a new paypal account. Since the country is different, the country code for my phone number is different as well. The problem is that my phone number is still the same, so I can't activate my phone number. How do I work with this issue?

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

I have a PayPal account in the Netherlands. In that account I have 2 telephone numbers (1 Netherlands, 1 Indonesian). Both work fine (e.g. for verification code) when I move between Netherlands and Indonesia.
Now I am In East Timor (a.k.a. Timor-Leste). I want to add my Timor-Leste telephone number. However, neither 'East Timor' nor 'Timor-Leste' are in the  country  dropdown list. Thus I cannot choose the country code (+670). I cannot type the country code manually.
As a result, I cannot add my East Timorese number, thus cannot log in (due to the verification code being send to the wrong telephone numeber), and therefore cannot use my PayPal account.

How do I either get access to my account from East Timor (like I did from Indonesia), OR get my PayPal balance refunded a.s.a.p. without any charges?

Paypal is not supported in that country.
