I'm trying to change my address and I get a "The billing address you entered is invalid" message

I added my new address to my profile and when I go to my profile to update my credit card with the new address I get this message:

 

"The billing address you entered is invalid. Please confirm the billing address associated with this card and try again."

 

The address has been updated with my credit card provider months ago, I'm just getting around to do it on Paypal now.

 

How can I tell what's invalid about my address? I tried deleting the card and adding it again but when I click remove I get "Sorry, we are not able to process your request. Please try again later." so it's not much better.

When you add the new address to your Account Settings, make the new address your new billing address first before updating the credit card address in the wallet.

Hi @sharpiemarker, thanks for your help. I have the option to make the address a Primary Address (which it is) but there is nothing about billing addresses. I have a Canadian account, I don't know if it makes any difference for that...
