Manually Linking a Bank Account

Hello,

I am trying to add a bank account manually to my paypal account. I was able to add Routing and Account Numbers with no trouble. The next step is to add a phone number so they can send me a verification code. When I enter my 10 digit mobile number, an error message pops up that says " we don't accept that type of number."

I have tried to message the help center but they are unresponsive.

You have a U.S paypal account so are you adding a U.S phone?
