My account shows two primary phone numbers, and I can't change this.

I am not getting help from customer service on the matter below.  My messages are shown in bold.  Does anyone know how to reach tech support?  Or have any other ideas?

home and work phones are both listed as primary. I want to delete the work phone completely.

Here’s how to add a phone number to your PayPal account:

1.Click the Settings icon next to "Log out".2.Click the (+) Plus icon to the right of Phone.3.Add your phone number and click Add number.

Here’s how to update a phone number on your account:1.Click the Settings icon next to "Log out".2.Click Update to the right of your phone number.3.Make your changes and click Change Number.

Here’s how to remove a phone number from your account:1.Click the Settings icon next to "Log out".2.Click Delete beside the phone you want to delete.

Ive already tried tis. It doesn't work because both phone numbers are listed as primary. See attached screeenshots. I need someone with enough technical knowledge to fix this. Please advise. Thanks

JR I understand this is an urgent matter to remove the work phone number. At the same time, we are unable to remove unless you have a number to replace it.   I suggest to use the number ending in 6559 as the primary home phone number.

Your website has BOTH numbers listed as primary. I can't remove primary status from EITHER. And I can't delete EITHER because they are both primary. I need you to escalate this to a tech support person. I do not want to have to close my PayPal account. Please have a tech support person respond.

Any new number that I make primary will give me more primary numbers. I do not have any other numbers to add.

I have the exact same problem, plus it looks like the "home" number is generated by some idiot robot by replacing my mobile operator code with landline area code. I have not added that number, I don't even have a landline phone, haven't had for like 15 years. So, what happens if that bogus number is used for verification?

And what sense does it make to mask numbers in the UI when I'm the person who owns the numbers and have logged in? How do I verify a number that I cannot see - apparently I have to add my number, make it primary and remove the other one. This sucks so hard.

It is totally weird that PayPal doesn't have decent customer support.

I was able to "talk" to Paypal's robot support and after a few tries it actually let me through the process of deleting my old home phone number which showed up as primary. Now I only have one primary left.
