Hello PayPay Community!
I'm having some difficulty trying to access my account after I received this message from Paypal when I tried to log in.
1st - PayPal is looking out for you / "We noticed some unusual activity and need help securing your account. Click Next to confirm your identity and change your password"
2nd - Sorry, we couldn’t confirm it’s you / Need help? We can help
When I click on the "need help" it brings me to this community.
I have tried to click "forget password" but then I also get this message "Sorry, we couldn’t confirm it’s you / Need help? We can help"
Any advice would greatly be appreciated!
Thank you

Wait a couple of days before retrying. Before you retry, clear your browser cache/cookies, restart, then try once to see if it'll let you log on as normal. If you get an error message, stop and wait a few hours and just try to reset your password. Just don't rapid fire repeat force your way in.
Logging on to your personal and then your business account shouldn't do that. It could be a bad, weak, unstable connection or signal interfering with processing.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Are you trying to log on from a different or insecure location or IP address PayPal does not recognize or finds issue with? Maybe try restarting your internet connection and your device but I think you should give the account a couple days rest because obviously security is already triggered on your account and you don't want to over repeat failed actions trying to force your way in.

Hello,
Thanks for the really quick reply.
I have my own personal PayPal account and then I have my business Paypal account and that is the one that I'm locked out of.
Could this be because I was logged into my personal PayPal account and then logged into my Business Paypal account a few minutes later?
I have not tried to restart the internet to use a different IP. I will restart the router now and then wait a couple of days. Any idea how many days I should wait before I try the account to reset my password?
Thank you in advance!

Yep, no problem. You're welcome. I hope it works. Slowly and carefully and gingerly log on...wait for pages to load and all that.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Hello @sharpiemarker,
So I have followed your advice and waited until today which is about 6 days.
I restarted the rooter and did everything slowing but still exactly the same problem;
PayPal is looking out for you -> Sorry, we couldn’t confirm it’s you -> Need help? We can
And it brings me back to this page.
What else can I try? I have tried calling the numbers but can't reach anyone.
Thanks in advance

Exactly this problem is happening to me. I contacted paypal a few times about this. You know what they said? They told me to use some other credit card...
I went through the process of verification of my identity with paypal because my account was also limited because I kept trying to log in. After that, no change. If I keep trying to use my paypal, then I think the automated system is too stupid to recognize that it's me WITH all the 2-factor authentication methods, so I think it will "limit" my account again by locking me out of the ability to pay or get money with my account with paypal - so, the new status quo with paypal is this, and I'm effectively locked out of my own paypal.
