UK PayPal account, Irish mobile number

I split my time between the UK and Ireland. I have an address, bank account etc in the UK which is linked to my PayPal account, but I no longer keep a UK phone, I just use my Irish mobile. I can't register this Irish mobile number to my PayPal account because it will only accept UK numbers. Is there a work around? I want to continue to purchase in £ not € using my UK funds. Thanks very much in advance for any advice.

Sadly not as Paypal is country specific so you have to open a paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.
