To all in the PayPal Community and especially those in PayPal Management.
I challenge everyone to repost this message and make it as widely known as possible. eBay has forced us to join their Managed Payment Program. I held out until this week until they block us from making new listings, and they warned as of the 15th of this month they would no longer allow us to process payments. My wife and I are disabled and have used eBay as a source of income since 1999 to supplement our SSDI and provide us with the necessary trade to qualify us for a program that helps us have Health Insurance. PayPal has been an excellent partner and we don't want to loose them. eBay on the other hand has never had our best interest at hand, and in most cases has sided with the buyer before ever hearing the facts of a matter. Our eBay account has been hacked several times. PayPal never. Since our eBay business is necessary for our Health Insurance, We had no option but to sign up for the Managed Payments Program. The Bad News is this will result in us ending our long history with PayPal. What concerns me even more is the fact that a business like eBay can force a service on it's customers when there are other options available. It seems to me that this should be legally wrong. We are now exploring a way to conduct our business online without eBay, however we feel this will take some time as eBay has no real competitor.
