Joint paypal account

Both my husband and I have a paypal account.  I am the manager of our money.  Our bank accounts are joint or in my name.  The credit cards are in my name. The email accounts are mine.  But when I call Paypal to administer the account registered in his name, I have to have him present for every call to authorize "for security reasons"  This is not possible every time and is a real hindrance.  One Paypal agent told me he would tell me how to make the accounts joint but I didn't have time on time on that call and when I called back it was no it

can't.  What security problem would it be?  Especially since I could get any male voice to give authorization on the phone saying he was my husband after all I can log into both accounts and give whatever info they ask me anyway.

Hi @GNEV,

Thank you for your post. I'm happy to help!

If you are the person who manages money for the business, you'll want to create an account in the name of the business, with your name as the contact. Or, if the current account is a business account, you may wish to complete a name change to make your name the primary name on the account instead of your husband's name.

Additionally, a business account can have multi-user access enabled, which would allow others to use the account with separate logins, but with one primary point of contact. There is not currently an option to make an account a truly joint account with dual ownership.

I hope this helps!
