Receiving Facebook Marketplace payments as a seller

Hello,

I am trying to find out how to receive payments from buyers for the items I have posted for sale on Facebook Marketplace. One buyer was telling me that I could set up PayPal as my method of getting paid. I can see how to set up PayPal as a method to make purchases, but can it also be a way to receive payments through Marketplace? I have made the link from FB to my Paypal account (personal) but am unsure if that also means I can receive payments.

Thanks for any help.

Generally, the sender makes a payment to your PayPal email address (the one you log in with) that you provide to the buyer. (Beware of fake PayPal payment confirmation emails. Make sure you check your PayPal account as well to confirm record of payment before shipping. You may and should ship/buy postage from within the payment transaction record. No record of payment means you have not been paid, even if PayPal puts a hold on the payment record of payment should still appear in your PayPal account.)

You can also make PayPal button and export it as email url to post in your Facebook feed or FB Messenger it to the buyer. You can also use the PayPal.me link, or a PayPal invoice.

How do I add a PayPal payment button to my website?

What is PayPal.Me?

How do I create and send an invoice?

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
