UK LTD company, bank account, registered address, PayPal business account & non-resident director

Hi,

I am a UK national thinking ahead to the post-Brexit world and trying to plan for different eventualities. I am the director of a UK limited company that has a UK registered address, UK bank account and UK-based PayPal business account. Depending on the outcome of the Brexit negotiations I may move to Spain and become tax resident there before the final cut-off date, but the company/registered address/bank account will remain in the UK. I receive payments by bank transfer and PayPal, and am wondering what the implications are for the PayPal business account. My question is this: Can I still keep this established UK PayPal business account if I as the director am no ,longer tax resident in the UK?

Thanks in advance for any experiences or advice you can share.

So, I spoke to PayPal UK support today, and they state that there is no problem for a director of a UK company to be non-resident in the UK and to continue to manage the company PayPal account. You need to update your residential/home address with Companies House, and then do the same with your residential/home address held by PayPal.
