Normally I am not one to complain when things get bad with payments or services, but this issue really really frustrated me.
I was in charge of raising money for the company I work for for a childrens chairty. We were participating in a big event and had to raise $10,000. We raised aprox $4,000 in cash. I had to deposit all of that money and donate it to the charity website through paypal. My bank account only allows $1000.00 a day through the account and another $500.00 through visa debit, which all takes the money from the same place.
One of my payments of $1000.00 did not go through right away like the others, which I can understand because it might look suspicious that im giving away so much money. So I wait a few days, nothing happend... waited another few days and saw that the payment was cleared. I checked the charity site where the money was supposed to go to, and nothing was there. My first thought was that the chairty did not get the money, or that it might have gone to the wrong place.... So I disputed the claim and talked directly with the person in charge of collecitng money from that chairty. They told me that paypal had let them know the payment was on hold, so I get in touch with paypal about it. I recieved that same copy and paste crap with no real answer. FINALLY paypal contacted the chairty and blamed them for this issue, when it was paypal holding my money. They were stealing my money and blaming it on someone else. THANKFULLY the chairty organized a refund so I am getting the money back.
Needless to say, I wont be using paypal ever again for transactions like this. I will not have them steal my money and then blame the seller (aka the chairty)
