I did not notice that I didn't change to my bank account made a purchace, they call me and tell me I am late and my late fee is the same as my balance plus $1.00 inital charge was $24.50 Payment $50.00...PERIOD! Quite a RIP-OFF

Hi sound39,

We are sorry to hear that you feel that way. Smiley Sad

According to the terms for PayPal Smart Connect, customer will be charged a fee if the total minimum payment due on the account is not received by 5 p.m. (ET) on the due date. This fee would be equal to:

  • $25, if you have paid your total minimum payment due by the due date in each of the prior six billing cycles.
    OR
  • $35, if you have failed to pay your total minimum payment due by the due date in any one or more of the prior six billing cycles.

Please note that the late payment fee will not be more than the total minimum payment that was due.

Yes... like all greedy CC companies they gouge you up the **bleep** with late fees, I believe it is Syncrony that provides the credit... or should I say Evil Syncrony... they will suck every last penny out of the ones that can least afford it... I have used these credit cards and have been on time paying but sometimes a due date is on a weekend or I just forget and only one day late... and BAM $35.00 gone instantly....

**bleep** these greedy **bleep**, I am closing all my PayPal credit accounts now that I have a good paying job and taking my good credit elswhere... I would suggest that anyone who is honestly trying to aquire and maintain good credit dump any and all Syncrony accounts and use a more customer friendly credit service, just don't know of any at the moment 😞
