This commercial made me extremely angry. I don't know who thought that a lost parrot REP_LACED WITH A PARROT OF A DIFFERENT SPECIES was even remotely amusing. those of us who happen to care for and share our homes with parrots know that each bird is individualo and irreplaceable. Very bad move on Paypals part. I was frankly astonished, and it did not make me think about paypal in a favoarble way .

This horrible and cruel commercial needs to be pulled immediately. I have four pet parrots and they are the most loving, sentient pets I have ever had. I am thoroughly disgusted with PayPal and feel like ending busuiness with them over this. Would they put a commercial like this up making light of a lost dog being replaced? Of course not. The sociopaths who created and approved the Skipper ad should be fired. In my experience parrots are smarter than dogs and bond even more deeply with their owners than dogs.

They would never make a commercial of someone petsitting losing the dog or cat they're watching and replacing it. You KNOW that's not your dog. Parrots aren't replaceable. They have personalities and create bonds with us just like dogs. This commercial is disgusting.

What a horrible commercial.  I've never been so disgusted by a brand.  You want to associate your company with animals being disposable?

I'll send checks before I use paypal ever again.

I'm appalled that a modern company acts like one family pet is replaceable by another, different pet, and all it takes is money. Lost pet birds are very smart but unlikely to survive in neighborhoods; someone has to find them. Parrots, like any pets, are not disposable. It's a thoughtless and unfunny commercial.
