Debit Card Link Error: We're not able to process your request right now.

I've been trying to connect my Visa Debit Card for 3 weeks now. With that, I have been getting the "We're sorry. We're not able to process your request right now. Please try again later." error / message every time I do so. No, connecting a different card isn't an option for me as I specifically need this card linked for USD transfers. I tried chatting, mailing, and phoning up Paypal Customer Service during said duration, but was given minimal help. What could possibly be the problem? How can I successfully link my Visa Card to my account?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community Forum! 

 

There could be multiple reasons why you cannot add your card. The most common is if your account has been limited or if our system is preventing you from adding the card for security reasons. In the first case, simply complete the steps in your Resolution Centre to resolve the issue. In the second case, you can try clearing your cache and cookies, deleting your browser history and waiting for 48 hours without accessing your account to let the system reset. This may help you solve the issue!
