Friends & Family Payment on Hold

I sent a family member money and it kept it on hold and displayed this message "We're taking a closer look at this payment. It's required for some payments and normally takes up to 24 hours. Please don't send until we tell you it's OK." I believe the 24 hour mark just passed and I still do not have the money. please help me.

Hmmm. PayPal does review personal payments from time to time but the above seems like the system is treating it as a goods and services payment. Does the payment status for the payment in your PayPal account say "Money Sent" or "Payment Sent"?

Did you send the money or is someone sending you the money? If you are the sender, of course you do not have the money. The recipient would.

 

Beware of scams using spoof PayPal emails. Something doesn't seem right here.
