I cannot transfer money from paypal to Halifax debit card account (UK).

Hello. I have £1000 in paypal account, and it won't let me transfer to my Halifax current account. Desperate for the funds. Can anybody help?

Are you trying to withdraw to a debit card linked to that bank OR are you withdrawing to the linked bank account itself?

Only you can't withdraw to a card in the UK, only to a linked and confirmed bank account.

I am having the same issue as above. Firstly, not being able to withdraw to a card is ridiculous, especially since Paypal are more than happy to use this to top up and fund purchases with it.

I have tried adding a bank account and just says "We're sorry, we aren't able to process your request right now. Please try again later"

Any suggestions??

Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum and welcome as a new member!

When PayPal opens its services to a country we must comply with the regulations provided to us by the countries government and banking license. For this reason, we cannot implement debit card withdrawals in the UK, there are some countries that only allow withdraws to a Visa card and no other funding source. Although we would like to be able to offer a variety of withdrawal methods, it is not possible.

Can anyone help me? I too have added my Halifax bank account and when I go to transfer money out of my PayPal, I get told this isn't possible for this bank?! I have received the four digit code to my account and entered it, just not sure why I cannot send money to it 😞

I have had the same problems as above but it used to let me with draw on this card and now it doesn't

Are you withdrawing to a bank account or debit card?

If its a bank account then.........

Have you withdrawn funds before?
Are you withdrawing to a bank account and not debit card?
What error message are you getting?
Have you verified / confirmed your bank account?
Are the funds cleared and not pending?
Are the funds in your countries currency?
Is the bank account in exactly the same name as your paypal account name?

I'm having problems transferring money to Halifax aswell. It seems I cannot link my bank account to paypal for some reason, never had a pro lem with any other bank

I'm havi g problems withdrawing too.. I've withdrew to my account for years now all of a sudden its not letting me... Are there any answers yet?
