I am using a Money Network card under Bank of America. My only other payment on my Paypal is an old, closed card I can't use anymore, but now I can't link my new one? And I called customer service on the back of my card about this, and their advice was to talk with Paypal about it, thinking the issue was on Paypal's end.
I've seen people in the help section with their issues resolved, but I haven't seen an explanation of how or what actions I need to take. Help?
I don’t think you can add this kind of card. There are certain cards PayPal does not accept. The reason being is because PayPal has their own similar card like this in the form of the PayPal Prepaid MasterCard which goes through NetSpend Network and has a routing number for direct deposit of government check, payroll, etc. If the card you have is the kind I think it is. Get a standard debit card that comes with a standard bank account.
On the other hand, call PayPal customer service to see if the can help you with adding the card. Click Help at the top, scroll down and click “Contact Us” and then click the phone option.
