As recently as May of this year, I was able to transfer funds from my PayPal account to my GreenDot Visa. I was recently sent some money from a friend which I DESPERATELY need, but when I went to claim the funds, In was informed my GreenDot card was no longer eligible for instant transfers and I would need to link another account. Traditional bank accounts are not an option for me right now, so when I called customer service they advised me to purchase a PayPal pre paid card. So now I've spent additional money i couldn't afford to purchase a card they're now telling me (10, yes TEN department transfers later) is pretty much useless until I receive the permanent card in the mail because temporary cards are also ineligible for instant transfer and for some reason it won't allow me tho use the Bancorp account and routing number I was provided with. I am NOT a happy customer right now.
