Turn off automatic transfer to my bank account

Why is my business account now automatically transferring funds to my banking account?

This would be fine if I had requested it, but I didn't.

There are also times I would want to use my PayPal balance for purchases.

Advice appreciated, thanks.

Thats not an option in the UK but quite a few have reported it on this forum so I think its another of Paypals 'glitches'.  Smiley Frustrated

Thank you. I have written to PayPal directly but they haven't responded. It's all very mysterious!

I have had the same issue where refunded currency is automatically transferred to my banking accounts. I ended up not waiting for a response and called PayPal directly. I called PayPal local in Australia.

Apparently it is an issue that other people have had and it is a feature that cannot be turned off.

The reason that it happens is that PayPal users (not sure how much I believe that) requested that refunded currency be returned to their original source. So if you paid using a credit card the funds will go back to that credit card. If you paid using a debit card or a savings account then the funds will go back to that account.

I hope that helps
