adding business bank account - New Zealand

I'm being asked for a 9 digit number as a routing number. ANZ say it is only a 6 digit number. It comes up as an error no matter wehter you use hyphons or not. Any body got a solution?

You can't add another countries bank account to your Palau paypal account.

@kernowlassthankyou for that. I'm not sure how I ended up setting up an account in Palau given I logged in from NZ. I now have an NZ account and it all woeks fine. Many thanks
