how do i link my american express to paypal & what is the routing number

i have a paypal account i need to transfer money from my paypal to my american express account ..

my question is they ask for routing number and account number .

i have the bank account number but i don't know what they mean by routing number it is from 9 digits

any one can help me to know how to find the routing number ?

Unless your American Express account is an American Express savings account, located in the US, you will not be able to withdraw into it. Also, these types of virtual accounts can run into compatibility issues with PayPal. 

PayPal accounts in Bahrain are also able to withdraw to Visa cards.
