Can I link USD account from Costa Rica Bank (BCR) to my paypal account?

Hi, i got a USD account with a VISA Debit card, from BCR bank here in Costa Rica, I can add this account to my paypal to recive USD, I ask because in the account says that i must link a Bank account with Colones.

I think it has to be a US bank account opened on US soil and not just a USD currency account but click on your country from the drop down list.
