Is AZLO Supported?

I am switching my business accounts to AZLO (an online business bank), but I am having trouble linking it to my Paypal account.  The first time it tried, it recognized that I had a BBVA account (as that is the parent bank), but when I opted to do deposits for verification they never arrived.  There wasn't a way to 'resend' so I removed and added it again.

This time the bank comes up as compassweb - which also seems to be a subsidiary of BBVA.  I don't really have time to wait another week to see if it works - especially since the help article said most online only banks were not supported.  Does anyone have experience with connecting to Azlo?

I've heard it works with Stripe, so I guess that's my next option.

To be honest, the money transfers to 'verify' the account never happened - it still says "ready to confirm" and there is nothing I can do.  However, the account connection just worked anyway - I've been able to transfer money from paypal to my bank account without a problem.  I did go ahead an integrate with another payment provider (which worked with my bank without issue), so now I have customers paying with both methods - I'm wary of staying only with Paypal because I'm afraid that at some point they will decide to disconnect I won't be able to transfer money in/out.  My old bank account has now been closed.     

Maybe it's only a security hole if I try to transfer money *to* paypal without verification?  What if I eventually want to pay for something with the account?

Thanks a lot. I was actually able to verify with the verifying deposit and withdrawal to bank account. However i’m getting an error message whenever I try to deposit to azlo account from PayPal.

ooof, that's the opposite of me - so strange!  and frustrating when you can't move your own money.  good luck!

I just get an error when I try to register Azlo as a bank.  It thinks the bank is BBVACompass by the routing number, but when I submit to send the test deposits, I get an error message.  This is extremely frustrating as I have funds tied up in this account now that I can't access.

I too tried to link my PayPal account to my AZLO business account (BBVA USA). The tokens were deposited by PayPal but when I came

back to finishing verification, PayPal said they had received an error code: No account, no account found.  I had the same problem trying to link my Authorize.net account with AZLO as well. My talk with AZLO leads no were. They say it is not their problem. So maybe AZLO is not quite up to speed?

SOLUTION (Not ideal... but worked for me)

I was having the same issue - never saw any of the verification deposits from PayPal into my Azlo account. The way I got around this was to link my Azlo debit card (not my Azlo bank account). This worked and I was able to move money into my Azlo account in 1 min using the "instant transfer" from PayPal. There was a 1% transaction fee - I am assuming using the "standard transfer" for free will work as well but I was stressed and wanted to know instantly if it would work or not. Hope this helps.
