Is it possible to use a BPI Family Savings Bank account?

Good day!

I have a savings account in BPI Family Savings bank, and I'm wondering if it is possible to link that account to my PayPal. I tried linking it before, but it shows the account type as "Checking" instead of "Savings". The fill-up form for adding bank accounts doesn't have the option to choose the account type. I also have a BPI Debit Cirrus card, but I don't think I could use that.  Is there any way for me to set the account type as Savings? Also, will I be able to receive a notification or email from the bank about it being linked to my PayPal? Thank you!

Did you find an answer to this question already? i have the same problem. I registered and linked my BPI Savings Account but it shows as a Checking account. How do you change it to Savings account? Also will you be able to transfer the money from Paypal to your BPI bank account if it says Checking instead of Savings? I need some help. Thanks.
