Loaded Funds at local Dollar General, but funds not appearing in PayPal Cash account

I am beyond livid and I know there's more of you who are or have faced a similar issue. I successfully loaded money onto my PayPal Cash card at my local Dollar General as of Dec. 4 around 7:15 EST (as I've loaded at this same location numerous times). After 30 mins or so, started to get worried because I had not received email/text that funds have been added to my account. Waited about an hour before I reached out to PayPal by phone. Took me several tries, but was able to get a hold of an agent who was NOT any help or brought me any comfort what so ever. He suggested that I email them a copy of the receipt, which I have done. Initiated a chat session also and NO ONE responded AT ALL. Didn't want to stress too badly so I went to bed hoping I would see funds posted this morning.

 

No funds today, which is now Saturday, Dec. 5. No responses to my inquiries in chat either. Tried contacting PayPal several times again this morning and the automated system keeps putting me off stating "We can't support your inquiry over the phone at this time. Please visit the Help Center and send us a message and we'll respond to your question." Call ends immediately! I mean, this is absolutely BS! The least PayPal could do is inform customers if there is even a system error. This is definitely NOT THE TIME to be holding up or perhaps, even stealing the little money people have.

 

I will be taking this to my local media outlet TODAY and I suggest you all do the same if you're in this situation. Maybe then, and with all the negative feedback, PayPal will do better!
