PayPal Funding in my bank statement

Hello everyone, I just checked my bank statement and it shows that 20 pounds had been deducted under the name PayPal Funding. So I checked my PayPal balance and it shows 0.00 I do remember requesting to transfer 20 pounds from my bank to my PayPal balance on the 18th of March and it stated that it will take 5 business days and estimated that it will arrive on the 27th of March. Today is the 23rd but I don’t see 20 pounds on my PayPal balance though it has been deducted today. Does anyone know what’s causing this? And any solution? Thank you.

Transfers from bank accounts are never instant, that is why when you buy something paypal credit the seller upfront for you and paypal take the wait for the funds to transfer to pay them back again, this is so you get your item without delay.
BUT if you are transfering the funds yourself then its you that takes the wait.

Takes 5-7 working days to transfer as Paypal use the slowest (cheapest) transfer option BUT funds normally leave your bank account from a few hours up to a few days later.
