Can anyone help - we have a little business renting out two camper vans. using paypal for online bookings.
All our bookings go on hold for ages and this revenue is vital to our cashflow. i took a quick look at how to speed up hold times and everything starts with whether youre selling a physical product or a service. we seem to be somewhere inbetween!? Our vans are physical but we dont ship them in the post like a T shirt....!? So i guess we are a service??
Either way, it appears the only thing that can be done to get things off hold is to mark them as "service supplied" - and then paypal have to check with customer they got their service - but if a customer has booked a van in september 2021 theyre going to say they havent had it yet presumably!?
So am I right in inferring that if someone pays us £1000 on 1st july 2021 for a van hire in September 2021, that Paypal wont release the money until September 2021 - in which case we wont be using paypal!!!!!
thanks for any advice

Funds are held for a MAXIMUM of 21 days.
They are released earlier if you supply trackable proof of delivery OR the buyer confirms receipt of item or service.
