I have recently linked a prepaid gift credit card to my personal PayPal account. But it says that its unconfirmed. How can I confirm it? Thanks for reviewing my question.

I imagine that you've already registered the card at the card's website? If so, you'll need to access the prepaid card account's recent account activity to retrieve the PayPal 4-digit code and enter it for the card on the PayPal Wallet page to confirm card.

I registered the card now. But I still can’t confirm the card in wallet. What should I do?

Hi there..., sorry, was answering another post. Let's see...we'll start with this....

Since you had to register card...check the recent activity on the card at the website, do you see any transactions? Do you see a transaction for 15 HKD with a PayPal 4-digit code?

If you do not see a transaction from PayPal for 15 HKD, you need to:

A.  Authorise PayPal to send a code to you

  1. Go to Wallet.
  2. Click on the card you want to confirm.
  3. Click Confirm card.
  4. Review the process and click OK.

Then wait the the code to arrive in your card account. Please allow 2-4 business days for the code to arrive.

B.  Check for and locate the charge and a code on your card statement or log on to the card account and check account activity

The 4-digit code is displayed on your card statement or account activity section next to the charge of 15 HKD. In the item description section, you will see it next to the word “PayPal.” For example, if you see PayPal*1234CODE or PP*1234CODE on your statement, then “1234” is your code.

Once you have this code:

C.  Confirm your card by entering the code

Have your 4-digit PayPal code ready.

  1. Go to Wallet.
  2. Click on the card you requested to confirm.
  3. Click Confirm card.
  4. Enter the 4-digit code and click Confirm.

The charge will be refunded to your card once the card is confirmed or if the 4-digit code is left unused for 75 days. Depending on your card issuer, the refund may take up to 30 days to appear on your card statement.

Nope, I only see a $0HKD transaction. Also, everytime i click the confirm button, it says “Confirmation Failed” but doesn’t show me any steps to follow.

Ok, there are two different confirm buttons if you look at steps A. and C. above.

In Step A, there is a "Confirm Card" button. Is that the confirm button you clicked? I need to know what stage you are at in the confirmation process.

So this is the button you clicked and it lets you review the confirm card process and it lets you click ok and you get the "Confirmation failed"?

And if you have your card account open in another window, make sure the name and billing address there matches your PayPal account.

Do you have any money or credit on the card? You must have at least 15 HKD on the card so PayPal can make the temporary charge. If you have a zero balance, it won't work and it could be the reason why the confirmation failed.
