Hi we have sold an item on grailed. The buyer said his funds have been taken and we need to enter tracking before we recieve funds? Is this correct ? I dont want to send it and recieve no funds? Thanks

It's a scam. Congrats on having your scam radar on. PayPal will never ask you to provide tracking number or send payment first in order to show your payment in your account. Only scammers say that. Be careful when selling high value goods as these are magnets to that kind of scam.

Log on to your PayPal account, do you see any funds in your Available Balance or your Pending Balance or is there a payment transaction listed in the Recent Activity?
If someone really sent payment, it should show "something" in your PayPal account. PayPal DOES NOT hide payment from you asking for tracking number first!!!!
Check the email header/raw text with your email client/app, is it from some random email address and not from PayPal??????? Do you even know how an authentic email from PayPal look like??????? DON'T JUST BELIEVE EMAILS, BELIEVE WHAT YOU SEE IN YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT!!!!!!!
If you still think this person paid, call PayPal customer service and provide that TRANSACTION ID # and let PayPal look it up! And please believe what PayPal customer service says. One person didn't and sure enough, they got ripped off and sent their item and coming back here saying they see no payment. Smh.
Contact customer service for assistance: Click HELP at the top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, and then scroll down to click CALL US. Say "Live Agent" to the automated recording.
May have to start writing big on here so the message will get through and not be so blinded by the $$$$.
