does sending money from walmart to my friend's paypal account work?

I want to send money from walmart to my friend's paypal account and i want to make sure that it does work. I checked walmart's website and it says that you can do it but i wanted to make sure if someone did it before and how's the transition goes by. thank you.

Thank you for your post! I'm afraid I'm not absolutely sure what you're referring to. In the US, Walmart stores are participants in our Get Cash feature, but I don't believe that's the one you're talking about. Are you referring to buying prepaid cards and adding them to a PayPal account? A Prepaid card may be added if it has one of the accepted logos, is registered to your name and address, and the system approves the addition of the card. Once added, a payment may be able to be sent using funds from that card, subject to approval by the security system.
